Recently, Lawrence Koplow co-wrote a brief on behalf of the Arizona Attorneys for Criminal Justice , in support of Matthew Voris, an Arizona man charged with DUI in 2010.
The brief’s co-author, Joseph St. Louis, shared some insight into their arguments in a blog post called “ Don’t Believe Everything You Read: Why Printed Blood Test Results Don’t Allow Experts to Determine a Person’s Actual Blood Alcohol Concentration “.
The post explains, with plain language and photos, how blood alcohol testing works, and how easily errors can occur — before the sample gets to the lab, and during the testing process through analyst mistakes or software problems.
The post Behind the Scenes in Blood Alcohol Testing and Testimony appeared first on Lawrence Koplow: Arizona DUI Attorney | Phoenix & Scottsdale.
